Marie Curie Original Acrylic on Canvas Painting

Marie Curie is a second edition of the original acrylic on canvas painting Madame Curie by artist Lindsay Ekstrom. This work of art has been completely altered so that only the pose is the same as the first edition. It depicts the pioneering scientist, Marie Curie, in Ekstrom’s signature “pop portrait” style. This painting was completed in 2023.

This work of art celebrates the groundbreaking career and scientific discoveries of Madame Curie, the first woman to receive a Nobel Prize and the first person to receive two Nobel Prizes.
