Lindsay Ekstrom is a celebrated artist living in Dallas, Texas. Her work, which is being called "Portrait Pop" features Rebels, Founders, and Icons from history painted in a unique and modernized way. Each of the artist’s works focuses on the unknown histories of well-known personalities. Through carefully-painted symbols hidden in their clothing and accessories, the artist highlights the intimate details of her subjects' personal lives and the ways they changed the world.
