Thought to be Her Majesty’s favorite - The Girls of Great Britain Tiara is also the most recognizable. The Queen is pictured wearing it on the current British currency.


In 1990, at the age of 64, The Queen stopped dyeing her hair, (her color was called Chocolate Kiss).

This tiara was a wedding present to Queen Mary who then gifted it to her granddaughter Elizabeth as a wedding present in 1947.

“Queen” the rock and roll band have been a global presence in popular culture for more than four decades. They are one of the world's best-selling music artists.


The Leather motorcycle jacket was introduced to the market in the late 1920s, (HM was born in 1926) this style was more comfortable than previous styles due to the use of zippers vs. buttons. In the year of its release, the leather moto jacket sold for only $5.50!

“We Will Rock You" is a song written by Brian May of Queen.  The song has only grown in popularity over the decades since its release. It made "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list, as well as “the Songs of the Century” list. It was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame


13-year-old Elizabeth was smitten by an 18-year-old Philip, who was about to start a career with the Royal Navy.  Soon the two were writing letters; she kept a framed photo of Philip by her bed.

Due to rationing in World War II, the future Queen of England saved up clothing coupons to purchase her wedding dress.

In 2002 “Queen” played “God Save the Queen” on the roof of Buckingham for the Queen’s Jubilee concert. 

According to The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, George "calls The Queen ‘Gan Gan.’ When Prince William was too young to annunciate “Granny,” he called Her Majesty “Gary”. 

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were married for 73 years at the time of his death.

The ceremony was broadcast on the radio to millions of listeners, and there were 2,500 guests at Westminster, including six kings and seven queens.
