The Process
Each commission starts with a personal consultation between the artist and commissioner. In this meeting, the artist takes time to understand you, your background, and your story. This includes discussing your chosen subject and why it resonates with you. Lindsay finds this discovery period crucial for her process. Following this, she will propose some ideas for painting the subject. This collaboration continues until both parties agree on an approach.
